Pay and Benefits

Saskatchewan Marshals are members of the Saskatchewan Government Employees Union (SGEU). Civilian staff may also be SGEU members, depending on the position.

The Saskatchewan Marshals Service offers a comprehensive pension and benefits package, which is administered by Plannera. Marshals and civilian staff receive benefits that include, but are not limited to:

  • health;
  • dental;
  • group life insurance; and
  • employer-matching pension contributions.

Salaries will vary for civilian roles, but marshals are compensated based on years of police service, as outlined in the below chart:
